GA Pet Food Partners · Paid Work Placement
Developed CAD design skills producing detailed 2D factory layouts and 3D models of robotic cells to verify end-effector reach, along with dimension sheets for the construction team. Contributed to FMEA and process flow documentation, collected and analysed fault data to improve line performance, and used Python to train AI vision object-detection models for industrial robot pick-and-place operations. Recorded cycle times to verify system efficiency, conducted attribute testing on pet food packaging, and deepened knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and machine vision systems.
Rossendale Leisure Trust
Worked across multiple sports centres running climbing sessions and other activities. As shift supervisor, managed staff duties and was responsible for opening and closing the building.

Currently in my fourth year. Tools and languages include SolidWorks, Altium, MATLAB, Plecs, KiCad, Linux, ROS, C, C++, C#, Python, and Machine Code. Built an autonomous line-following buggy in a year-long second-year group project. Achieved a first in my third-year individual project researching, modelling, and simulating EV charger control with a focus on vehicle-to-grid charging. Current fourth-year group project conducts research on Optimal PWM Modulation Strategy for Automotive Motor Drives, in collaboration with Mercedes AMG HPP.

A Levels in Computer Science, Maths, and Physics — attaining A*AA. Achieved 10 GCSEs including grade 9 in Maths and grade 8 in English Language.
